Education
"Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; teach a rightous man and he will increase in learning." --Proverbs 9:9
Education is one of the nurturing ministries of the United Methodist Church, and our beliefs put great emphasis on the need for Christian education throughout one's life. At Yorkville United Methodist Church, our goal is to provide a firm educational foundation, so that the desire to learn will continue into adulthood. There are several interesting and enjoyable ways of gaining a greater understanding of God in our daily lives, with classes designed to fit every need.
Educational programs at Yorkville UMC are coordinated by the Christian Education
Team. We hope that there is something that will interest
you!
