Sunday School for Adults
"Jesus answered, 'My teaching is not my own. It comes from him who sent me.' " --John 7:16
Who says Sunday School is for kids? In addition to Sunday School for children, we also host classes for adults here at Yorkville United Methodist Church!
Adult Sunday School class is led by the Pastor, Lay Leaders,
or other adult members of the church, and studies are concentrated
on specific works or books of the Bible that are of special
interest to the group.
The adult group meets from 8:45 to 9:40 a.m. each Sunday from September through May. The class meets in Fellowship Hall, in the lower level of the church building.
Still another option for adults, which requires a longer commitment to in-depth study, is to participate in one of the Adult Bible Study groups which are offered on a regular basis.
Both are open to anyone who wants to attend -- simply choose the time and format that feels most comfortable!
