Sunday School for Children and Teens
"I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth." --3 John 1:4
Sunday School classes are available during the regular school year for all children age 3 through high school (separate classes are also held for adults). Classes meet on Sunday morning from 8:45 to 9:40 a.m., September through May.
Lessons include music, class discussions, and games or craft projects. The new children's curriculum, Exploring Faith, uses a variety of hands-on experiences to help children come to know what the Bible is, how the Bible came to be, and why it is important to us today. Children are challenged to apply God's word to their daily lives through activities in the classroom and through simple, practical applications.
This comprehensive program introduces children in age-appropriate ways to the varied stories of the Bible, from Adam to Paul and from Abraham to Jesus.
In addition, children may participate in seasonal activities, such as our Christmas program or Live Nativity which are presented by the Sunday School classes each December. Other recreational activities such as Bowl-a-thons and Skate-a-thons are also held throughout the year.
Anyone can be part of the Sunday School program simply by attending!
Come join the fun!
