Sunday School

Yorkville United Methodist Church encourages you to continue your Christian education by attending one of our many Sunday School classes. Everyone is welcome, from children to adults, and you are sure to find a class that fits your needs and age group.
Classes are held each Sunday during the school year (September through May) from 8:45 to 9:40 a.m. Lessons vary according to age, and include Bible study, music, class discussions, crafts and games.
Our children's Sunday School classes present a Christmas program or Live Nativity each December. We also sponsor other activities such as a Bowl-A-Thon and Skate-A-Thon. Our adult classes offer Christian fellowship and lively discussions of our faith.
If you find you cannot attend Sunday School, there are other options for continuing your Christian education: Confirmation classes, Adult Bible Study, Vacation Bible School or UMC camps.
Sunday School is fun for all ages, and all you have to do is attend! Why not give it a try!
